In light of the 2022 Supreme Court decision in NYSRPA v. Bruen, obtaining a concealed carry permit in New York is now more accessible. However, the state mandates an 18-hour training course to ensure responsible firearm ownership.

This comprehensive NY CCW course, led by certified NRA CCW instructors authorized by the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), fulfills all state requirements, including:

• 16 hours of in-depth classroom instruction

• 2 hours of live-fire training at the Nassau Range

👤 Who Can Attend a NY CCW Class:

✔️ Residents of NYC, Nassau County, or the Five Eastern Suffolk Towns (East Hampton, Shelter Island, Southampton, Southold, Riverhead) do NOT need a pistol license to attend.
⚠️ Western Suffolk County residents (e.g. Huntington, Babylon, Smithtown, Islip, Brookhaven) MUST have a valid NYS premises or sportsman pistol license to enroll.

We reserve the right to reschedule or transfer students to another similar class if minimum student registrations are sold.  Failure to reschedule within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of fees, and you must pass all examinations / practical qualifications to be awarded a certificate of completion.  Students rescheduling with more than 48 hours notice will be granted a single reschedule.   Retesting will incur additional fees. No refunds will be issued.
